On May 20th, The Full Figured Chest launched a campaign to debunk the myths surrounding made-to-measure lingerie. The Full Figured Chest and five independent lingerie designers are out to demonstrate just how inclusive the independent and made-to-measure lingerie world can be. The campaign will begin with a series of five blog posts addressing the misconceptions surrounding made-to-measure lingerie, along with demonstrating how these brands support women of all shapes and sizes.
The post series will end with a giveaway sponsored by these five well known made-to-measure designers. The prizes will all be made-to-measure, and suitable for any and all body types.
I’m really excited about this campaign as it highlights a part of the industry that isn’t talked about as much, and it will introduce consumers to made-to-measure lingerie; especially to those who might not have normally considered it. I look forward to seeing how it all shapes up!
The sponsoring designers are:
The globally recognized, quintessentially British lingerie label, Ayten Gasson, supports the few remaining underwear factories in the UK. In addition to Nottingham lace, new lace is sourced from companies based in the UK to support the few people still manufacturing in the country.
Ayten Gasson’s silk creations are stocked in some of the most exclusive boutiques in the world, such as Tallulah Lingerie, Lulu & Lush, Bordello, and Fenwick’s of Bond Street in the UK. The label has also secured contacts with luxury department store Le Bon Marche in Paris, and many luxury boutiques in America, Europe, Israel and Dubai. The label is also available to buy online at www.aytengasson.com.
